The Role
To cope with our business growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our HK office.
Responsibilities
• | Provide accounting services for clients including preparing and processing transactions and financial reports; |
• | Provide support to clients’ investor inquires; |
• | Prepare fee calculations (managing fees, carried interest and waterfall) verifying that calculations are in accordance with LPA; |
• | Prepare investor capital and distribution notices; |
• | Prepare ad hoc requests regarding fund and investor specific reports as well as analysis; |
• | Prepare fund annual and quarterly financial reports; |
• | Prepare SPV accounting; |
• | Understand and assist clients with other reporting, such as FATCA, K1 etc.; |
• | Assist clients to address and resolve audit inquiries from external auditors during year-end audit; |
• | Participate in pre-project stage discussion with the clients and to define more detailed services model for specific clients as required; |
• | Assist the onboarding of existing funds and the launch of new funds; |
• | Participate in the internal as well as external technology solutions to address the complex reporting and data requirements of clients; |
• | Recruit, train, motivate, and develop staff to develop their full potential; |
• | Participate in strategic planning and review to continuously improve processes and the team’s performance; |
Requirements
• | Oversee projects progress, and assist in developing a suitable plan and evaluating potential solutions |
• | Lead and manage project teams to ensure the project deliverables are provided on time and fulfilling user requirements and service level requirements |
• | Conduct project tracking and control for the project, resolve project issues, apply quality control management, report project exception |
• | Working closely with business users, clients to understand their requirements and technology team to manage the full project life cycle from end to end and driving project from initiation, budgeting, scoping, scheduling till delivery |
• | Manage the project fulfilment lifecycle from setting project deployment plan & schedule, budget control, resources assignment, identify business user acceptance criteria & testing plan, training and support, service level monitoring & deliver remediation plan, etc. |
• | Development of test strategies, test plans, test cases and expected results with users to ensure to meet expected deliverables |
• | Maintain good relationship with clients |
• | Provide technical advice and consultancy service to clients |
Qualifications
• | Experience in Financial Industry is highly preferrable. |
• | Degree holder preferably in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/System, or other related discipline |
• | Over 10 years of IT related project management experience |
• | Strong analytical sense and problem solving skills |
• | Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with diversified group of stakeholders such as different departments of the client, vendors, partners, and internal teams. |
